Whatever is being portrayed here is the genesis of a relatively less known Italian tuning firm by the name Panzani Design. Christened as Vintage GT, it’s a take on the Jaguar S-Type R, which was the flagship version of the series that derives its power from a 4.2 liter supercharged V8, putting 400 ponies to tap.
It’s a question of ambiguity whether one likes or dislikes the Panzani Design approach in the realm of styling, but one thing that stands out is that one cannot ignore it! The tuning company makes its first step with the exteriors of the coupe. It adds a new wide body kit with prominent wheel arches that can provide room for 20 inch alloy wheels shod in tires of size 255/35 R20 up front and 305/30 R20 at the rear.
The car is also gifted a new front end with a carbon fiber bonnet and bumper trim, and air vents on the sides from the XKR. Panzani Design decided to eliminate the bumper at the back and replace it with a massive rear diffuser, new circular LED tail lamps and a new carbon fiber boot that incorporates a spoiler. The race-spec mirrors, exposed fuel cap, side skirts and the matte gray paint finish made the look complete.
The interior has witnessed lot of work being done on them. The inside is swathed in leather and Alcantara with seams that are contrasting. The cabin also sports a pair of sports seats, carbon fiber trim and a newly styled three spoke sports steering wheel.
Panzani Design had not revealed about the presence of modifications, if any, under the hood. It also kept silent on the information about the price tags of the Vintage Gt.
