We have already seen a handful of models that have been announced to be unveiled at the cupoming Chicago Auto Show and now we are getting more details and so we can learn more about what else we can expect in the show.
According to a recent report from Automotive News, Kia will unveil the Soul EV in the Windy City. Designed to appeal to eco-friendly buyers, the model will come fitted with a 27 kWh lithium-ion battery and an electric motor that could produce an output of approximately 109 hp (81 kW) and 210 lb-ft (284 Nm) of torque. This should enable the model to have a range in excess of 120 miles (193 km) on a single charge.
Another report mentioned that we can expect to a see a mysterious Nissan Frontier “engineering study.” Little is known about the model as of now but if the concept is unveiled it could draw some attention away from new competitors such as the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon.
Last but not least, Volkswagen may unveil an off-road racer while Volvo may go on to showcase the S60 and V60 Polestar at the upcoming show.
