A rare Dodge Viper SRT10 with only 1,393 miles recorded in more than 18 years has recently completed a sale at $111,000, a fact that places it way above what most examples from that model year usually command. By comparison, the standard price of a 2008 Viper sits around $78,000, while exceptional cars can reach higher.
This fine stud seen here looks and feels pristine and cost around $89,060 when it was first bought brand-new. In today`s money, that amount would correspond to around $134,557, based on a cumulative inflation rate of 51.07% between two years. So while the final auction figure looks strong, it still lands below that adjusted equivalent.

The sale took place through Bring a Trailer. The car had pristine documentation and carried a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title. The 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10 seen here also comes with 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear. Titanium lug nuts hold them in one place, while Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires complete the package.
Other exterior highlights also include HID headlights, hood scoop, power-adjustable mirrors, side-exit exhaust outlets, and more.
As can be seen in the photos, it is finished in Snakeskin Green, while inside, the cabin is trimmed in microsuede and leather. The seats also feature embroidered Viper lettering on the backrests.

Mechanically, this Viper carries several changes beyond factory form. A Mopar Performance engine control unit has been added, together with American Racing headers, a fifth-generation intake manifold, and a Corsa exhaust system. It also received an Nth Moto clutch, carbon-fiber driveshaft, fifth-generation differential, and Driveshaft Shop axles. The removed stock parts are included, which matters for buyers who think ahead.
The 2008 model came out after a one-year break and brought along some substantial revisions. The US-based car manufacturer built 1,172 units that year, among them 179 ACR versions and 50 Hurst 50th Anniversary cars. Engine displacement grew from 8.3 to 8.4 liters, with the output climbing to 600 horsepower (608 metric horsepower) with 560 pound-feet (760 Newton meters) of torque.

Variable Valve Timing and CamInCam technology were part of the package, along with revised heads, larger valves, dual electronic cooling fans, and VENOM engine management. A Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual replaced the older T56, now using 10% wider gears and revised synchros, while a smaller twin-disc clutch reduced pedal effort.
According to factory figures, the Viper SRT10 was able to run the 60 mph sprint in 3.6 seconds, while the quarter mile was covered in just 11.6 seconds.
