Mansory’s take on the New Porsche Cayenne Turbo at Geneva 2011

by Alex

The Geneva motor show event witnessed quite a few works from Mansory. There was the Mercedes SLS AMG Cormeum and the Ferrari 458 Italia Siracusa on show as was the new program that the Swiss subsidiary of the tuning firm had developed for the latest generation of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo SUV.

The wide body kit extends the vehicle by 60 mm up front and 80 mm at the back. There is ample use of carbon fiber in the aero treatment that the package metes upon the car with parts such as the bonnet, side skirts and rear diffuser being made up of this material. The changed appearance of the car from its base model is further heightened by the 22 inch black alloy wheels shod in massive 295/30 tires.

The power upgrade of the package includes a larger set of turbo chargers to the existing Cayenne Turbo’s 4.8 liter V8 and a custom exhaust system along with a reprogrammed ECU. All this boosts the power to 690 hp and 800 Nm of peak torque at 4,800 rpm. Sprint ability of the car stands at 4.4 seconds for the 0 to 100 kmph run with a top speed of 300 kmph or 186 mph.

There is also the option offered by Mansory to lower the height by 45 mm by an electronic module as well as add some more livery to the interior of the car.
