There are a plethora of aftermarket companies that have different programs for the Mercedes SLS AMG. And with the car’s ever growing popularity, more companies, as expected are ready to work on the German supercar, some even have done so multiple times. As far as working on the SLS AMG is concerned, MEC Design can be considered quite an old hand. The tuning company is constantly working on their Mercedes SLS kit, every time coming up with something to enhance it. Now it’s time for the new GT3 Diffuser.
The new GT3 Diffuser is, as the name suggests, is a full-on racing diffuser with large fins. Design-wise it goes very well with the revised rear bumper and the trunk lid spoiler, and you can have it in carbon finish as well.
The exterior of the MEC Design created SLS 63 AMG will have a two-piece front spoiler, optional LED headlights, a spoiler lip finished in carbon, new side sills with four optional LED lights per side, a two-piece rear roof spoiler, a roof air scoop, a customized stainless steel sport exhaust system, a rear trunk-lid lip, a set of mecxtreme3 allow wheels that are available in either 20 inch or 21 inch, and three different diffuser options (Extreme, Formula, or GT3).
As far as the interior is concerned, MEC Design did a mind blowing job by equipping the SLS AMG with a sports steering wheel dressed in carbon and Alcantara with leather/Alcantara and carbon/leather combinations coming as further options which may fascinate the customers. Speaking of carbon fiber, there’s plenty of the high-end material placed inside to give it the look and feel of supreme luxury and comfort. There are carbon add ons that have been applied on the middle console, door guards, entry guard, the seat casings, and just behind the rear seats.
