The luxury German automaker, Mercedes-Benz, is currently working on a new C-Class Coupe. Speaking of the aforementioned vehicle, there are reports indicating that the vehicle is going to make its world premiere at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show event that is going to commence September this year. This is against the previous report mentioning the car would make its debut at around December this year.
According to the latest report, the car will feature a visual design that is even sleeker than that of the S-Class Coupe model from the German marquee. As the source of the report puts it, the car will sport a ‘more beautiful design’. In addition to that, the source also claims that the upcoming C-Class model from Mercedes-Benz is going to offer an even better driving pleasure, so it is not about the visual styling alone. This has also been confirmed by Gorden Wagener, the design chief of the luxury German car manufacturer.
As always, the upcoming C-Class model from Mercedes-Benz will be joining the rest of the C-Class family, which already consists of a wagon estate and a sedan. Additionally, it is reported that the German automotive brand in question will also unveil a convertible (open top) variant of the C-Class, following the world premiere of the coupe variant of the model.
As for the engines that customers can choose from to place under the hood of the C-Class, these will most likely include a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo engine and a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. The latter offers 241 bhp of power output whereas the former offers 329 bhp of power output. At the top of the range, of course, there will be the AMG variant which packs a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine. This one delivers 469 bhp and 650 Nm of power output and torque, respectively.
