Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG 2012 model: official specs

by Adrian Hayden

The CLS63 AMG has finally been released at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. The German manufacturer promises incredible performance for this car which will most likely be a lot ahead of its time. The car will be, as expected, powered by the new 5.5 l biturbo V8 that delivers 518 BHP and 516 lb/ft of torque.

The power of the engine will be taken to the street through an AMG MCT gearbox designed to offer performance and a great fuel consumption. For those who want even more power, Mercedes will offer a Performance Package that will give the engine 550 BHP and 590 lb/ft of torque.

The car now comes with redesigned front and rear bumpers, new AMG sport wheels, a new rear air diffuser with an integrated exhaust system. Inside we can see that the tuner has integrated more aluminum and carbon trim, a new sports steering wheel, new seats and a new set of aluminum pedals.
