The all new S-Class Coupe has made its debut at the 65th edition of the ongoing Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany which means that we can expect the CL-Class to become history soon but not many may complain about it looking at the new concept.
Considered to be a “top-of-the-line model”, the concept appears to be pretty much production-ready and it looks quite different than its four-door siblings. In the exteriors, the front fascia adopts a more aggressive appearance while at the rear we can see sleek new horizontal taillights. The elegant and curvy lines of the regular S-Class have been taken to a whole new level as the Coupe concept looks gorgeous from just about any angle.
The muscular wheel arches host redesigned 21-inch wheels separated between the axles by a decent 2945mm wheelbase. Talking about the dimensions, the S-Class coupe concept is 5050mm long, 1985mm wide and 1409mm tall. Under the hood, the power is provided by a V8 4,633cc Biturbo engine that can generate an output of 455 hp (339 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque.
The production version of the S-Class Coupe will likely be launched at the North American International Show (NAIAS) that would be held in January 2014 in Detroit.
