Audi having the Allroad, Volvo having the Cross Country and now Mercedes is jumping on the bandwagon with the E-Class All Terrain, a vehicle that blends station wagon usefulness with greater off-road capability.
“No E-Class has ever been as versatile as the All‑Terrain,” stated Ola Källenius, Mercedes-Benz Cars head of marketing of the automobile that will be making its official launching at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. “The new design combines a striking look in SUV style with the intelligent space concept of the estate.” It will stick out from other E-Class models thanks to pronounced front and rear bumpers, a protective trim around the wheel arches and the option of 19- or 20-inch wheels covered in fatter tires.
The brand-new model provide up to 156 mm of ground clearance and long-term all-wheel drive plus some really smart suspension innovation. The automobile utilizes Mercedes’ Air Body Control system so that the flight is as smooth as possible and the body roll is kept to a least.
The All-Terrain will be provided with a 2.0-liter 194 hp diesel engine at launch and a six-cylinder diesel will follow not long after.
