Mercedes-Benz will launch the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC on June 2. It will be offered with only diesel engine in India.

The new GLC is basically the SUV version of the C-Class and will have styling motivated from the latter, such as the headlamps and the sporty front grille. There is also a broad front bumper to offer it a SUV position and big wheels that emphasize the side of the automobile. The GLC also has plastic cladding and fender accentuation that runs all around the SUV to give it a tougher look and feel. Around the rear, the GLC adopts a set of horizontally put LED tail lamps and the trademark Mercedes-Benz bumper design with 2 exhaust pointers and a diffuser.

The SUV will get a large main screen with Apple Vehicle Play as basic in addition to ambient lighting.

The Mercedes-Benz GLC will get both a gas and a diesel engine. We anticipate the gas motor to be the GLC 200 or the GLC 250, and the diesel to be offered in 2 versions, the GLC 220d and the GLC 250d. All engines will be mated to a dual-clutch 9-speed gearbox, while a select few versions will also get 4Matic all-wheel-drive. The GLC will likewise get AirMatic suspension and off roadway aid on the all-wheel-drive version, which will include different terrain response modes.

The GLC will shall be priced in between Rs 35-50 lakh ($51,909 – $74,156), which would be Mercedes-Benz’s very first SUV in this range.
