New Nissan Sylphy launched in Japan

The all new Nissan Sylphy was recently launched in Japan. Apparently the model will be launched in another 120 countries, including China, the United States of Thailand.

The all new Sylphy, comes with a new body shape, offering a lower air resistance, an optimized under floor airflow and thanks to these improvements, along with several other tweaks, the model is now 16% more fuel efficient compared to the previous version. On the front one gets to see the three-dimensional chrome front grille with an imposing presence, front bumper features a horizontal design structure, headlights with six LED clearance lights. Rear combination lights featuring bold horseshoe-shaped design with fifteen LED lights express a high stunning feel. The new Nissan Sylphy is 15 mm lower in height and 65 mm narrower in width when compared to the previous generation of the model and it gets an optimized interior layout which allows more leg room for the rear passengers.

Inside the car, it features high-quality carefully selected and combined materials used for the center panel finisher, Instrument panel design gives a feeling of spaciousness, say-to-read Fine Vision Meters with a central color liquid crystal display showing various information, including ECO mode indicator, all this increase the feeling of the upbeat interior.

Under the hood, the engine that lies at the center is the 1.8 liter MRA8DE engine, which is more powerful, and smooth, while driving. The Fuel economy has been improved by 16% to 15.6km/L (in JC08 model) compared to the previous model, and the whole setup is mated to an XTRONIC CVT.

Some of the key features are, Xenon headlights (projector type with low beam/auto-control) (standard on G trim), Optimum light distribution, multi-reflector halogen headlights (manual control) (standard on X trim, S trim), Auto light system (linked front wipers, dawn sensors) (standard on G trim, X trim), VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control ), LED High Mount Stop Lamp, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), Brake Assist, Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) 3-point seatbelts for all seats, SRS air bag system for driver and front passenger, Side air bag system and SRS curtain air bag system for driver and front passenger (standard on G trim).

The price for the all new Sylphy, ranges between 1,937,250 yen( $23487) to 2,389,800 yen ( $28974), including consumption tax.
