All of us know that the Forst Focus ST has always been a hot Hatch, but now reports are pouring in, where it is stated that the next Focus RS will probably be using an electric limited slip front differential and it will be gushing out some where around 350 horsepower.
It is believed that, the next-generation Ford Focus RS would get a more powerful variant, of the 2.0Liter Eco Boost engine, which is seen on the present, Ford Focus ST which pumps out 300hp (224 kW), whereas there are chances of a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine which would apparently be delivering about 350 hp (261 kW), which is been produced in the U.S.
The powertrain engineering manager of European performance division Team RS, Len Urwin said that, “You can drop a mechanical diff in as we did with the previous Focus RS, but an E-diff would take that a step forward in that you can really optimize traction in all situations.”
Lets just wait for some confirmed reports, that eventually will clarify every aspect of the next-gen model. As of have a look at the pictures.
