Noble may not be as popular an automaker as the likes of BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini or Mercedes-Benz. However, this does not necessarily mean that the company does not have any credibility at all in manufacturing cars. As a matter of fact, the company in question has just taken the wrap off its new vehicle model known as the M600 Speedster. Basically, the vehicle is just the M600 that has its fixed roof replaced in favor of a retractable roof.
Up to this point of time, the aforementioned automaker does not have too much to say in respect to the vehicle. However, the company claims that the vehicle is an exercise that gathers a lot of researches. In addition to that, the company has also made clear what kind of powertrain that potent buyers can expect to get from the vehicle.
It is said that the Noble M600 Speedster will pack a 4.4L V8 engine under the hood. Thanks to this engine, the vehicle will have a total power output of 650 hp. The engine is going to be mated to a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox. Thanks to such a configuration, the car will be capable of reaching the mark of 321 km/h and beyond in terms of its top speed.
So far, to be honest, the vehicle being displayed at the Autosport International event is just a prototype. Nonetheless, Peter Boutwood, the managing director for Noble, has clearly hinted that the company plans to make the Noble M600 Speedster one of the quickest cabriolets ever that customers can possibly get in the world with their hard earned cash. In addition to that, a Twitter account with the username NOBLE AUTOMOTIVE (@Noblecars) also mentions that the car is supposed to be an M600 Jim but not quite as the usual variant. Thus, the Twitter account suggests people to head to the event to find out more about the car themselves.
