One killed, five injured after car crash in Catoosa County

A head-on crash involving two cars saw 1 death and 5 injuries on Thursday afternoon in Catoosa County, Georgia.

Officials responded to the crash around 3:15 p.m. that took place at 1875 Holcomb Road.

Severe damage can be seen here to both vehicles, but the most to that silver Mustang, which was left totaled.

The Mustang, driven by a 21-year-old identified as Damien Crum and occupied by three other passengers was traveling east on the road before it crossed over the centerline and hit a silver Dodge Ram 2500 head-on which was traveling west.

The Dodge Ram was driven by a 38-year-old identified as Ashley Knox and occupied by an eight-year-old identified as Kyle Knox.

Crum succumbed to his injuries.

The other driver and occupants had non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized.
