One killed, four injured after train crashes with car in Chilton County

One woman died and the other four were injured after a train crashed with a car in Chilton County, Alabama on Monday.

Officials responded to the crash that took place at the Guy Street railroad crossing around 4:27 p.m.

40-year-old Lori Ann Parker of Jemison was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 24-year-old woman, an 11-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl were admitted to the hospital due to injuries.

Jemison Police Department is investigating the crash.
