Vygor is a is a Tuscany based sports cars maker, and a youngster in the automakers market. Not very long ago they unveiled the Opera 1, which is their first sportscar, and now, the Opera2, which, according to the Italian company, is luxurious version of the first model.
The Opera is a combination of an SUV and a GT designed to be “aggressive and original,” while the new model – called the Opera.2 – is supposed to be “elegant and exclusive.”
Both of the Vygor vehicles are built on a high-strength steel tubular chassis and powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. What is interesting about this is the power outputs, which are dealt in three different stages: 300 HP and 280 lb-ft, 350 HP and 361 lb-ft, or 420 HP and 435 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic with sequential shifting and an adjustable Ohlins suspension is mated to the engine, and power is sent from the engine to all four wheels with a Torsen differential up front and an electronic limited slip differential in the rear.
Having said all of this, the SUV/GT can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 160 mph.
Even though not many things have changed from one model to another in the exterior, the interiour kinda makes it up with the luxury. Hand-crafted leather trim, and a navigation system with a 7-inch touch-screen display give the car an upper class. In addition, Vygor also states that their vehicle can be customized so that customers can create their own ’unique Opera.’
Due to the fact that the original Vygor Opera is scheduled to be built in a limited run of 150 units, we are expecting the Opera.2 to be built in the same manner.
Prices will start from 140,000 Euro – or about $193,000 at the current exchange rates.
