New details have started to emerge about the upcoming facelifted 2014 Volkswagen Polo. The model has been spied earlier quite a few times and even undisguised.

The facelifted model will be offered with the 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI engine that currently powers the up! and will reportedly have outputs ranging from 60 HP (44 kW) to 90 HP (66 kW). The engine will likely be offered alongside a variety of petrol and diesel four-cylinders.

In terms of styling, not much change is expected except for revised front bumper, a smaller antenna and restyled taillights. Also the interiors would more or less remain the same with few changes such as a new dashboard, an updated infotainment system and additional assistance systems.

The model is expected to be launched later this year.
