SEAT UK is starting a phased re-opening of its showrooms in the UK in line with the easing of government restrictions.
The government and automakers had enforced shutdowns of factories to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
While the United Kingdom has been on lockdown, SEAT has been ‘physically closed, digitally open’ to support the present and new customers however possible, while complying with the government guidelines.
As declared on the 25th May during the government’s daily briefings, restrictions will start to ease for sections of the retail automotive industry in England from 1st June with retailer showrooms in England being permitted to open providing certain criteria are met.
In line with the guidelines, SEAT retailers have taken positive actions to improve safety measures for both workers and customers surrounding physical space, digital appointments, appointments, test drives, sanitation, health and hygiene, contactless sales and contactless handovers.
