The third consecutive year and the partnership between Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) and Hyundai yet holds strong. The SEMA show has the two of them in collaboration represented at the event. The model on display is a customized piece of Hyundai’s new Equus luxury flagship with exterior, interior and performance upgrades.
Carbon fiber has been the material used for the exterior and that has been done up with a Red Bull Racing blue satin clear paint. There is also an array of carbon fiber parts including mirror caps, front chin and rear deck spoilers, grille and exhaust outlet trims. HRE 21-inch P40 wheels does up the rest of the exterior package.
The RMR signature Edition unit for the SEMA show has the headrests and floor mats, and – hold on – ostrich hide leather seats with suede accents.
Upgrade of performance has been achieved by bolting on a new air intake and sports stainless steel exhaust system adding an extra 30 horsepower to the V8 engine for a total output of 415-ponies. The brake kit is a 14-inch set up and this counts for the upgrade package in total.
