The Murcielago is being replaced by the LP700-4. This is as per those who had made it to the Lamborghini preview event that was held. Details of the LP700-4 even without the pictures indicate this replacement notion.

The engine as per information, is a 6.5-liter V12 delivering 700 horsepower. There is also the added factor of a redline of 8250. For transmission there is a seven-speed single clutch unit with two modes and 50 millisecond shifts. The acceleration statistics of the car reads for 0 to 60 mph as 2.9 seconds and top speed of 217 mph.

The chassis is made up of carbon monoque and suspension of the car is the Formula one style for the rear. This makes the Lamborghini 229 kg lighter and yet 70 percent more rigid. It also has the added feature of being an all wheel drive.

The reporter has also stated that this car would be shown at the Geneva Motor Show next spring and that those famous scissor doors will remain. The truth of all this information has to be seen in time to be believed.
