Brabus is the first tuner that offers a sport package for the Tesla Roadster Sport Green Package. The German tuner has turned its attention away from the petrol thirsty sports cars and has reorientated on the electric sports car. The package offered by the German tuner features a quick charging station for the customer’s garage, 30,000 kilometers (18,641 miles) worth of eco-electricity with which to run it and a one-year unlimited-use pass at all public RWE charging stations. The car is now being offered only in Germany, but there are no plans for expanding for now.
It seems that Brabus has taken a new direction, because the tuner has concentrated on making the EV faster charging, rather than making it faster going. The RWE-Brabus quick charging station charges the roadster in less than six hours, giving the car an autonomy of 350 km (220 miles). The aspect of the car has slightly been changed by refining the front fascia with a particularly light carbon-fiber front lip and LED lights incorporated in the front grille.
On each side of the car there are underfloor “Space Lights” which can be activated by opening a door for example. The car has received the Brabus rear wing and diffuser, both made of lightweight carbon fiber. The taillights of the car have also been emphasized with color-coordinated applications.
