Three people died following a car crash just off the interstate near Black River Falls in western Wisconsin.
The three victims were in a vehicle that hit a semi that was trying to turn into a Kwik Trip parking lot off Interstate 94 near Black River Falls Saturday at about 1 a.m.
The vehicle was heading west on Highway 54 and hit the semi.
The victims included the car’s driver a 34-year-old identified as Leonard Hopinka, of Black River Falls, a 36-year-old passenger, Tyler Decorah, of Black River Falls, and 35-year-old Jorden Vidana, of Onalaska.
All were pronounced dead at the scene.
They were not using seatbelts.
Wisconsin State Patrol investigated the crash.
