Nissan Australia announced that in mid-2013 they will be coming out with more versatile version of the Nissan Pulsar SSS. The new Nissan Pulsar SSS is supposed to get a turbocharged 1.6 liter engine with much better looks. The 2012 Sydney Motor Show is about to begin and before that, Nissan confirmed the news that they are planning to come up with the newer version of the Nissan Pulsar SSS.
Under the hood of the new version will be a 1.6Liter Turbcharged four-cylinder Petrol engine, which would deliver 140kW of power and 240Nm of torque, and this engine will be mated to either a six-speed Manual or CVT(continuously variable transmission). If the Sources are to be believed then, like the Nissan Juke Compact which can do a 0-100km/h in around 8 seconds, probably the new Pulsar SSS will be able to do that much in around 7 seconds, but then again it depends on the Gear System.
After China, Australia would be the second market to get the Nissan Pulsar SSS with the Australian models getting under the knife, so that the new variant can run according to the local conditions.
Details about the Pricing haven’t being released yet, but it is expected that all details would be showcased closer to the launch date.
Nissan Australia boss William Peffer says the Pulsar SSS will be top of its class when it launches in around nine months’ time. He also adds “The way we see it, the Pulsar SSS will easily by the best performer in this category of vehicles,” said. “The SSS name returns with the same energized styling and performance credentials that made it a hit with a generation of Australian drivers and enthusiasts and I promise you this car is worth the wait.”
And lastly, it should be noted that the Nissan Pulsar SSS will make its official Australian debut at this week’s Sydney motor show. As of Now take a look at the Pictures and stay tuned for more updates.
