Two killed after car crash in Brainerd, Minnesota

Two people were killed after a car crash in Brainerd in central Minnesota.

Both victims were women.

The crash took place when their car crossed into oncoming traffic.

The 19-year-old Brainerd woman was driving the car when it crossed the center line and struck a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado on Highway 210.

The 19-year-old has been identified as Katrina Rose Lipp. Her passenger has been identified as Tiffanie Amber Rivera, 21, of Blackduck.

The driver and passenger of the Silverado were injured and hospitalized at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.

Minnesota State Patrol investigated the crash and was assisted by Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office.
