Two killed after car crash in Wichita County

Two people were killed after a car crash on Tuesday afternoon in Wichita County, Kansas.

A 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe sport utility driven by a 23-year-old identified as Andrew Gomes of Scott City failed to stop at a stop sign when he was driving east on County Road H.

His vehicle along with the 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 43-year-old identified as Landon Lane of Marienthal crashed at the intersection.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Kansas Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
