Two men were found dead on Tuesday morning after their car crashed into a home on Detroit‘s west side.
The shooting apparently took place and was reported in the 4 a.m. hour on 29th Street, north of Michigan Avenue and west of Hubbard.
Following the crash, everyone was fine in the home, but the two men in the SUV had died, according to Officer Holly Lance, a spokeswoman for Detroit Police Department.
The men were using a Jeep Cherokee.
Police believe the shooting took place prior to the crash, not at the scene of the crash. The vehicle had been shot multiple times. Locals said that they heard the gunshots before the crash.
The victims’ ages were not revealed as of now and the circumstances prior to the shooting and crash are yet to be discovered.
