Volkswagen has recently made an announcement of their plans to offer Groove up! and Rock up! special editions in the United Kingdom.

The Groove up! model is available as a three- or five-door hatchback and comes with features such as heated front seats, a leather-wrapping steering wheel, a Fender audio system, a Maps & More infotainment system, gloss black mirrors, tinted windows and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The other model, Rock up! is available solely as a three-door hatchback and comes equipped with anthracite body stripes and a body kit that includes a front spoiler, revised side skirts, a rear diffuser, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, air conditioning, heated front seats, a six-speaker audio system and a Maps & More infotainment system.

Both the models are fitted with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that has generation capacity of 75 HP (55 kW) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission gearbox which enables these special editions to return 60.1 mpg UK (4.7 L/100km / 50 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 108 g/km.

Both the models are currently available for order and the first deliveries are expected to happen in month of July. The Groove up! costs between £ 11,640 and £ 12,015 while the Rock up! comes with a retail price of £ 12,980.
