Shelby 1000 Widebody production version launched

by SpeedLux

Shelby has just introduced the 1000 Widebody at Fabulous Fords event at Knott’s Berry Farm in Southern California.

The car was delivered to its legal owner at the event and he drove the car straight from the show to his home. The car was a street version with output offered at 950 bhp (708 kW) and came fitted with large 20-inch wheels covered around in 345/35 R20 tires. However, the S/C model which is more powerful than this model is not street legal on Californian roads.

At the same event, Saleen launched the 351 Mustang prototype that comes fitted with a V8 351 cubic inch (5751 cc) engine capable of delivering 700 bhp (522 kW).

The model looks truly amazing and the owner of the car would be very happy with the delivery of the car.
