Recently we came across a video that depicted the Mercedes SLS AMG having a little fun with the Isle of Man, the one and only road of the country where there are no speed limits to follow. But we know as soon as you read it you seem to get jealous about it too. The DTM driver David Coulthard had given his car to Tiff and the challenge was to run the car at the top speed of 160mph. So the question arises is, did he succeed? And the answer is obviously YES and after the task he spoke to Coulthard about his car and what do you think would be the conclusion of this chapter? Well for that to know you need to drive the SLS AMG at its top speed to see that what the car does at that speed.
This speed demon is powered by a 6.3-liter V8 engine which powers from the front mid section of the car and develops a whooping 571 HP and up to 650Nm of torque. Mated ti the engine is a seven speed dual clutch gearbox. This actually helps the car to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, and the top speed figure can go all the way up to 197 mph.
