Video: Nissan GT-R (R35) meets its ancestor

GT-R R34 and R35Mike Duff from Autocar takes a close look at the current Nissan GT-R (R35) and its predecessor GT-R Skyline (R34).

Quick facts: R34 is powered by a 6-cylinder in-line, 2.6-liter turbocharged engine producing 276 hp and 293 lb-ft of torque. Weight: 1560 kg. 0-60 mph comes in 4.9 seconds and top speed is 155 mph.

R35 is powered by a 6-cylinder 3.8-liter twin turbocharged engine producing 478 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. Weight: 1740 kg. 0-60 mph comes in 3.8 seconds and top speed is 193 mph.
