Volkswagen announces new 2014 Amarok Ultimate

Volkswagen Amarok has proven to be quite popular and you can see more of more of them especially in Europe used for construction, transportation and so on.

Here’s a new special model called Amarok Ultimate with bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights and slightly modified appearance with additional chrome elements.

Bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights are not a big thing anymore, but for pickup trucks it is quite rare in fact the Amarok is the world’s first pick-up of its class with optional bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.

There are also two twin chrome bars on the radiator grille, silver wing mirror covers, darkened rear lights with LED number plate illumination, polished 19-inch ‘Aragonit’ alloy wheels fitted with 255/55 tires, special lettering, a silver-coloured design underbody guard and a styling bar as well as sill sidebars in chrome.

Standard safety and comfort features include ParkPilot, Rear Assist reversing camera, electric folding and heated wing mirrors, alarm system, heated front seats and the ‘RNS 315’ navigation system complete with mobile phone preparation.

Engine range includes the familiar TDI engines delivering 103 or 132 kW in combination with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, linked to either manual or automatic transmission.

Prices in Europe start from €34,770 plus VAT.
