Sauber seems to coming in news every now and then and it looks like the rescue deal is not going happen very easily.

There has been news that the company has entered into a deal with Russian government based entities but there is also news that the deal has not yet taken place with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin yet to sign on the deal documents. However the team has stated in an official statement that some media are just spreading false reports and rumors about the deal.

In fact in the same statement, the team has stated that a contract with teenage Russian driver Sergey Sirotkin, whose father is a key figure in the entire deal is very much in place and the same would be closed very soon.

But on the other hand the German newspaper “Welt am Sonntag” has reported on Sunday that it has sufficient documents that can prove the opposite of what the team is saying.

There is also news that the engine supplier Ferrari is now demanding around half of a long overdue EUR 18 million bill to be paid immediately. The above German newspaper has reported that only 3 million has been paid of the eight million demanded.
