Generally, most of the owners of BMW E46 M3 are satisfied with their car and with its exterior appearance. However, it seems that Waldi Franz, a 27 year car addict who was raised in Germany and now lives in Chicago, thought it could make his 2004 BMW E46 M3 more interesting and decided to apply on it a unique camouflage wrap. Are you curious to see the result? Well, you’re lucky because Waldi recently met up with Jeremy Cliff for a photoshoot of the final project and we can show you some shots, thanks to StanceNation.com, who published the pictures.
While the exterior comes with a CSL front bumper, a CSL carbon fiber diffuser and CSL carbon fiber bootlid, the roof was wrapped in Flat Black and the OEM BMW roofrack. In addition to that comes a set of VMR VB3 CSL style wheels sized at 19×9.5 in the front (+22 offset) and 19×10 in the rear (+25 offset) equipped with KW V3 coilovers. Also front and rear wheels are wrapped in Falken FK tires, 225/35/19.
The owner ended up rolling and pulling all four fenders, and in order to sit flush he added 5mm spacers up front and 30mm adapters in the rear. The last part of the project was the Camouflage Wrap.
As for the power no details were released, but you shoul know that in standard form the BMW E46 M3’s engie is rated at 360 bhp maximum output at 7,900 rpm from 3.2 litres capacity, that is a sensational output-per-litre figure of 111 bhp. Maximum torque, in turn, is 370 Nm at 4,900 rpm.
