The 2011 5XR Mustang has been tuned to deliver 525 hp of power and 630 Nm of torque. The feat has been achieved by the specialists at the tuning company ROUSH. For this the people at ROUSH fitted the car with their custom built ROUSH charger. They have plans to build a total of 150 units of the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang. They would be offering a warranty of 3 years and 36,000 mile on the engine and all other ROUSH components. They would be tuning only the coupe and convertible variants of the base car that come with six speed manual system for transmission. The package also includes a ROUSH 20 inch chrome rim and high performance Cooper RS3 tires.
Some other features of the package include the ROUSH exhausts which come with square tips. There is also the ROUSH front fascia with the driving lamps, front chin splitter, side rocker splitters, rear valance and three-piece deck lid spoiler as part of the custom body kit. One would also get 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang graphics and badging included in the package which is an exclusive of ROUSH. Jack Roush maintains that the selection of the Ford 5.0 liter car was a wise one as this car offers the best platform for improvement and that they have raised the power from 412 by 113 hp due to the ROUSH charger.
The vehicle would also get added speed as per Jack Roush. The price of the package is about $15,390 and gets the owner a personally signed letter of authenticity of the package from Jack Roush himself.
