Some time back we had already provided you with the first glimpse of tuning package, from Heico Sportiv, of improvement and upgrades for the brand new 2011 Volvo S60. The German tuning company has finally officially relinquished a complete set of photographs and details of the company’s tune up program, which includes styling and performance enhancements for the Swedish sedan.

Heico Sportiv’s tuning package features a rear diffuser, a two-piece front spoiler, and a discreet boot lid spoiler that upgrades the exterior of S60. The rear diffuser is selectively available with carbon fiber inlays. The tuning package lowers the standard version of the sports vehicle. The tuning package also includes fitting on the luxury sedan sport springs and sport exhaust system with four-tail pipe. Similarly, the alloy rims are reduced to 18-inch or a 20-inch that are wrapped with low profile rubber. The tuning package’s interior options are limited to aluminum pedal set, footrest and gear shift knob.

The invisible upgrades packaged under the tuning program offers ECU advancement. The ECU upgrades are applicable and available for both the S60 2.0T and T6 petrol models. After the upgrade, the two-liter turbo engine gets a performance boost of over a 47 bhp and 50 Nm of the torque so that the upgraded engine delivers a total power output of 297 bhp and 350 Nm of torque at its peak.

The upgrade program uplifts the AWD T6 version power plant to deliver the power output of 330 bhp with a peak torque output of 463Nm. This performance tuning of the AWD T6 empowers the luxury Swedish sedan vehicle to accelerate from 0 km/h to 100 km/h i.e. over 62mph in as less as 5.8 seconds as against the original time window of 6.8 seconds. The Swedish luxury sports vehicle can hit a top speed of 155mph i.e. 250km/h. The maximum speed of the sport car is controlled and limited electronically.

The German aftermarket tuner also announced that the company is working towards making finer improvements in ECU for the T3, T4, and T5 variants of the new S60.
