The 2011 Virage model from Aston Martin made its debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. For power the car has a V12 that’s a hand built 6.0 liter unit and capable of delivering 490 bhp or 365 KW/497 PS and 570 Nm or 420 lb ft of torque. For transmission the car has a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic mechanism that is mounted on the transaxle. This way the car is able to achieve a perfect 50:50 weight balance. For looks the car has been installed with single bi-xenon headlamps, new single bi-xenon headlamps, a new front bumper, new front wings as well as a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and exhaust system. All this places the car in between the DB9 which is the elegant model from Aston and the sporty looking DBS.
There is the Satellite Navigation system which has been developed together with Garmin and is an integrated fit of the car. The driver is guided to ones destination by the help of a 6.5 inch high resolution display and use of the latest graphics and maps. The other features that come as standard fit of the car are: heated seats (Sports seats only), cruise control, satellite navigation, Bluetooth telephone preparation and the powerful 700W Aston Martin Premium Audio System with Dolby Pro Logic II and full iPod integration.
For performance boost there are the Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brakes and there is the feature of a single button selection which caters for faster throttle response and quicker gear change. The car also has an Adaptive Damping System (ADS). By this the car is able to read the road so to say and return optimal road holding capability. All this makes driving a dream in the process.
