Opel has recently introduced their new Zafira Tourer 1.6 SIDI Turbo.
Described as the most powerful compact monocab on the market currently, the model comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that can generate an output of 200 HP (147 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. It is well mated to a new six-speed manual transmission.
The output enables the Zafira to achieve the 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) sprint in 8.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 225 kmph (140 mph). Talking about fuel efficiency, on can expect the model to return an average of 7.0 L/100km (33.6 mpg US / 40.3 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 164 g/km.
Talking about the styling, we do not expect much change to take place but the model can be distinguished by features such as red “turbo” badging, a dual exhaust system and 17- to 19-inch alloy wheels.
The Zafira Tourer 1.6 SIDI Turbo will be up for sale from next month and though the pricing has not been announced by the company yet, they have confirmed that the same will be “highly competitive.”
