2015 Ford GT

The Ford GT has been acknowledged as one amongst the top ranking contender in the game of motorsports. The only other competitors to this car have been the Shelby and Cobra. It was however a rushed up job that Ford undertook in its attempt to reincarnate the GT model by a super sports car. Even though the reincarnated version maintained the looks of the classic car but the engine output could not match that of the previous version. Many owners even gave up their possession owing to frustration at the performance of the car. If this isn’t enough, problems galore began to surface on the car as soon as one started to live with it.

Then followed a period of financial crisis and more or less the entire world reeled in its wake. Ford was far from being immune to the economic upheaval which had in fact left it completely shaken and stirred. However there has been a comeback staged by Ford thereafter and the turnaround for the automaker has been remarkable to say the least. On a quarterly basis Ford now out sells General Motors and things are only looking up and bright for Ford with passing time. They have started to come out with sleeker designs which have turned their sales into a big hit making grounds for a new supercar to come.

There is however a dilemma that needs to be cleared. Should the next super car be one that competes with the Chevrolet Corvett ZR1 or the Ferraris and Lamborghinis which are known for their looks or should the car be one that packs a lot of punch under its hood. Trying to make a car that follows the latter option would however mean breaking their face that they have been trying to build up. There is however plans for Ford to come out with a new GT information of which is yet scant.
