Brabus releases ECU upgrade for BlueEFFICIENCY models of Mercedes

German tuning firm Brabus which tweaks anything with the Mercedes Benz emblem on the hood recently released an ECU upgrade for the 350, 250, 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY units using gasoline engines with direct injection.

With the Brabus ECO PowerXtra kit for the CGI, the E200 and the C200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY with the direct injection four cylinder engine can give out an extra 26 horsepower and about 22 pound feet of torque.

The Brabus ECU boosts the E250 and C250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY variants to 230 horsepower from 204 hp while the torque jumps to 258 lb-ft from 228.

The top of the line gasoline engine in the current range of Mercedes-Benz, the V6 3.5L used for the E350, CLS 350, and the C350 CGI Blue EFFICIENCY benefits with the ECU upgrade with addition 18 horsepower.
