Holden is celebrating the 35th anniversary of its Commodore and they are doing it in style. The company is introducing the new VF Commodore International Edition to celebrate this occasion.

Available in both sedan and sportwagon, the International Edition would be distinguished by features such as LED daytime running lights, “dark bezel headlamps” and 18-inch alloy wheels. In the interiors, the model comes with additional standard equipment including leather upholstery, Blind Spot Alert and Reverse Traffic Alert.

Motivation would be provided by a 3.0-liter SIDI V6 engine rated at 248 hp (185 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque. There is an option to fit a 3.6-liter LPG V6 that produces 241 hp (180 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.

As per Phil Brook, Holden’s Executive Director of Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing, the company wanted to celebrate the anniversary of an icon by introducing even more great value features on the all-new VF Commodore. He further stated that the VF range has been very well received and they have been continuously trying to improvise on the same, and so they were delighted to be able to introduce an even more compelling package to large car buyers.
