The 2014 Peugeot 308 GTI has been already spied quite a few times and now new details are starting to emerge about this upcoming model.

Speaking in an interview to one of the automotive site, Peugeot’s Christophe Valet said that nothing was been finalized as of now but there are chances that the model could have an output of around 250 hp (186 kW), maybe more, maybe less.

Giving some other details about the model, Valet confirmed that the model will have a lowered suspension with beefier anti-roll bars, larger shocks and stiffer springs and dampers. We can also expect high-performance brakes, a revised steering system and 19 inch alloy wheels.

While the company is making efforts to provide the 308 GTI which will have a perfect balance of performance and comfort, the company is also expected to introduce a range-topping 308 R equipped with a 1.6-liter THP engine that would generate an higher output of 270 hp (201 kW) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque.

As of now the details are limited and we will have to wait till the final details are out about 2014 Peugeot 308 GTI.
