Koenigsegg to Introduce New Model in 2015

Koenigsegg – a company that produces some of the world’s most luxurious sports cars ever – has made its plan of returning to the US official. Following the official announcement of the automaker’s plan, rumors have started to swirl around all over the internet.

According to a report recently published by the Car & Driver, the automaker in question will build a minimum of four dealerships and that is only in the North America alone. Car & Driver reports that these four dealerships will have the Agera model available for sale. Yet, in addition to the Agera, which happens to be the company’s bestselling model, the dealerships will also display a completely new vehicle model. Rumor has it Koenigsegg will officially introduce this entirely new model at some points in 2015.

For now, however, there is not much yet known about the new vehicle model from Koenigsegg.

With that being said, it is perhaps more interesting to pay attention to the Agera that the automaker will be offering in its US dealerships. The Car & Driver believes that the Agera will prove to be fully compliant with the safety regulations that apply in the Canadian and US soils.

In other words, those thinking about buying the Koenigsegg Agera will be able to expect the presence of smart airbags in addition to a number of other safety equipment that is deemed mandatory by the laws.

The Agera is said to be coming with a price tag of approximately $1,650,000. Needless to say, this is not a cheap price at all. Yet again, it is perhaps a worthy price, keeping in mind what the vehicle in question is actually able to offer for those with deep pockets. Yet, for those who are looking to have even a better vehicle than the Koenigsegg Agera in their garage, they should really consider spending their hard earned cash on the upcoming new model. The latter is said to be even more expensive than the Agera.
