Mercedes C-Class W203 by MEC Design

by Zack Colt

It’s quite funny the way everyone gets excited to see new and inovative machines at the SEMA event about to come, and the guys at the MEC Design have prepaed for the special ocassion a package for the well known Mercedes C-Class W203. Which is not necessarely a bat idea, how many may say. Reinventing the old is a very important part of the new, but this is not the time nor place to philosophize.

The car has been upgraded with a Carlsson bumper package, White matt folie wrap, tail lights and 3rd Brake light glazed mat, mirror covers with LED lights, black lights in LED technology, perforated brake discs front and rear, and red brake calipers. Even though this precise model is almost 10 years old, I really think it looks really good, merging the classy with the modern.

As for the performance, which hasn’t been left behind, the W203 also gets MEC’s lowering springs that drop the car by 30mm and Bilstein sports dampers, plus stainless steel sport mufflers, 2x90mm beveled, and a set of mecxtreme3 20-inch matte black wheels ( 9 +10.5 x20 with 235/30 + 285/25 ZR 20 ).

To complete everything, the interiour has been fitted with the MEC Design package wood /leather steering wheel and special floor mats with Nubuck edging.

We will be waiting for this model at SEMA, to see if it really stands out with pride.
