If he wasn’t mindful, a Nebraska trooper on Thursday pulled over an odd-looking sports vehicle– one that could have provided him a splinter.
State police told that the owner built the custom vehicle out of wood, and stuck it on the frame of a 1985 Pontiac Fiero. The wood was cedar.
The environment-friendly car itself is legal in Nebraska, but Trooper Bill Price stated he stopped the motorist because it didn’t included a front license plate.
Nebraska State Patrol did not determine the driver, however stated the man lived in Sweden most of the time. “He keeps it in America and flies back here on vacation to go to. He was taking it down to Galveston, Texas, to go to some good friends for a week,” the cannon fodder informed the Omaha World-Herald.
Price said he was surprised by the look of the vehicle. “I was type of stunned to be truthful with you … I was like, ‘Is this automobile genuine? Is this vehicle wood?’ And he stated ‘Yeah!'”.
Even the interior dashboard and steering wheel were constructed out of wood, the newspaper included.
The trooper stated he chose to let the driver off without a ticket.
