Offcial Details: Brabus T65 RS based on the SL65 AMG Black Series

Brabus revealed the official details of their latest creation derived from the DNA of the SL65 AMG Black Series, Mercedes-Benz’ most powerful ride of all time. The vehicle tagged as the T65 RS, gets a work up in the garage of the tuning firm to up the numbers of its V12 to 800 horsepower while revving at 5,500 rpm and a torque of 1,047 lb-ft while at 2,100 rpm. The numbers are impressive but the massive torque is electronically limited to 811 lb-ft.

The Brabus T65 RS can blast from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in a matter of 3.6 seconds and to 200 km/h in just 9.8 seconds. The car has its top speed pegged at 330 km/h or 206 mph. The car’s top speed is electronically limited to 320 km/h because of tire safety.

Brabus was able to draw out the great performance from the car by giving it custom high end twin turbo system that consists of high-performance turbochargers and special manifolds for the exhaust with turbine housings.

The team of Brabus also worked on the interiors. There is Alcantara and black leather all over the dashboard, headliner, and door panels. Contrasting red seams highlight the interior elements.

Brabus also installed custom made speedometer bearing the car’s name and used stainless steel for the scuff plates.
