Tata Motors has unveiled Racemo sports coupe at the Geneva Motor Show as the first product under the automaker’s TAMO sub-brand.
Developed at the Tata Motors Design Studio located in Turin, Italy, Racemo is a two-seater sports concept that declares to have a 0-100 km/h in simply six seconds. In order to accomplish such a thing, Tata has adjusted the vehicle with a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron gas engine which provides 190 PS of power and 210 Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed AMT transmission with paddle shift. Racemo is constructed on the MOFlex Multi-Material Sandwich (MMS) structure– a structural technology, which will make it possible for higher flexibility in surface area style, effective large-scale part integration causing modularity and faster time to market.
The automaker’s other launches included the Tigor and Nexon models at the Geneva Motor Show and is expected to introduce RaceMo in India by early 2018.
