Three people are dead after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Harrah’s Boulevard and Fourth Street (Route 291) in Chester, Pennyslvania on Wednesday evening.
An SUV crashed with a four-door sedan at the light which is at the intersection of Fourth Street, also referred to as Industrial Boulevard, where traffic enters the casino complex.
About five people were heavily entrapped in one sedan in the crash, which brought firefighters, police and paramedics from Crozer-Chester Medical Center to the site of the crash at about 8:30 p.m.
The crash took place when the SUV rolled onto its side north of the intersection as the sedan spun around and struck a traffic pole. The trunk of the car ended up against the pole.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
The other three were admitted to the hospital.
One of them succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
Chester police and the Delaware County Accident Reconstruction Team are investigating the crash.
