Three people were killed after a car crash in eastern Kentucky on Saturday.
Officials crews were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Kentucky 182 and Cave Branch just before 9:00 p.m.
A 41-year-old identified as Jitu Galani, of Beavercreek, was driving a 2014 Honda CRV on KY 182 when he passed an entrance to Carter Caves State Resort Park. He put the vehicle in reverse and tried to back down the roadway.
The vehicle got hit after dropping off the shoulder of the road.
When Galani tried to free the vehicle, it rolled over the culvert, and then landed on its top in a creek.
Jitu Galani, Nitu Galani, 39, and their four-year-old child, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their 11-year-old son survived the crash.
All victims hailed from Beavercreek.
Kentucky State Police investigated the crash.
