Route 220 crash in Franklin County

Two people were killed after a multi-vehicle crash in Franklin County on Thursday evening.

Police said the crash took place along Route 220 on Fork Mountain Road at about 5:29 p.m.

The crash involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle.

Virginia State Police is investigating the crash.
