Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on East Stephen D. Hogan Parkway between East 6th Avenue and South Picadilly Road in Aurora, Colorado.

After officials attended the crash site they saw a heavily damaged Toyota Tundra pickup truck and a Honda Pilot in the roadway.

The crash took place when a Honda Pilot was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line and traveled into the eastbound lanes hitting the Toyota Tundra head-on.  The driver of the Toyota was not using his seatbelt at the time of the vehicle crash.

A 60-year-old man was driving the Toyota. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An 18-year-old woman was driving a Honda Pilot. She was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.

The identities of the victims have been withheld pending notification to their families.

Both directions of Hogan Parkway were closed for some hours due to the investigation.
